An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified Pharmacist to work in a fast paced and challenging environment where no two days are the same.
The role, which reports to the Quality Manager of a leading specialist pharmaceutical manufacturing company, involves the release of final products to customers. Drawing upon your pharmacy and clinical knowledge, as well as various reference sources available, you will be required to help provide a first class and comprehensive service to our client’s customers. You will have the opportunity to investigate product development opportunities and key performance indicators, in order to improve and safeguard the future of the company.
Key aspects of the role will involve:
• To work in the laboratory carrying out quality control on final products for release and intermediates for use in manufacturing.
• To assure raw material quality control by provision and approval of specifications in conjunction with the Product Management Technicians.
• Advise and assist manufacturing staff when requested to do so.
• Plan and carry out research projects/opportunities to agreed budgets, and timescales.
• Handle technical enquiries from both colleagues and customers, ensuring these are well documented for future reference. 
• Maintain a general awareness of matters relating to Pharmacy and ensure our client is aware of those that are relevant to them.
• To actively maintain and develop company Quality and Business Systems in conjunction with other departments. 
• To actively promote GLP and GMP within the company and observe and comply with company Health and Safety Policies.
• To proactively support the company operation by helping other departments when required.
