Our client is looking to appoint an Head of Physics to take a leading role in the Materials Testing Laboratory department.

Headquartered in the Midlands, with laboratories and offices around the world, the company employs a team of researchers and product developers who are involved in materials testing, research and development, process engineering and failure testings.

The company is an internationally renown authority in materials testing and analysis.


The companies bespoke consultancy service delivers innovative solutions increasing our clients profitability across a range of industries, including medical devices, polymer and construction industries.


We are interested in hearing from experienced physicists or material scientists to fill this new role, key to the companies development plans.

The successful candidate will direct the development of methods to enable the best outcomes for the constant flow of new challenges the department regularly receives as well as ensuring accuracy and precision of the data provided to the clients customers.


You play a central role in ensuring that the companies technology is fit for the future. Leading a small team of development scientists, you will have the resources to maintain our proud record of innovation.

It is essential that all applicants are degree qualified in Physics or a strong industrial track record, with proven experience and expertise in a range of physical testing techniques.
