Our client is a medium sized chemical company.

They are looking to recruit a process Operator.

Purpose of role: To carry out the production of the manufacturing process on a designated production cell.

This is a heavy engineering environment where specific roles may change and you should be prepared for a typical engineering workshop environment.

Role requires individuals with hard working ethic, able to work with their hands and some basic machinery, to work safely in their environment and be able to learn new tasks.

The role is an intial 3-6 month contract with possiblity for permanent roles for hard working indivudals who show the desire to progress and work in a team environment.

The Process Operator will enable and control the following:

• Achieve the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
• Highlight and communicate any minor faults which may arise which may cause delay to production
• Ensure all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
• Maintain accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
• Promote and adhere to the company’s quality system at all times
