A global speciality chemicals company is looking for a R&D Chemist to work at their Teesside based research manufacturing facility. The company who has won awards for enterprise is looking to add to their growing R&D team.
The role which involves laboratory scale up to full scale manufacture of speciality chemicals, requires a chemist who has an interest in R&D and scale up. This is a challenging role where new chemical routes and formulations are derived depending upon customer requirements. The role will involve synthetic and analytical chemistry, and practical experience of working within an R&D industrial facility would be highly desirable. Exposure to distillation would also be of interest.
This is a technical role where you will be liaising with other R&D colleagues and communicating with manufacturing departments during scale up and plant trials.
If you are qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related subject, or have further study from MSc or PhD, with practical experience from a commercial R&D facility this is an excellent opportunity where you can really develop and thrive.
