A chemist is required to work within an innovative technology company. Based within their materials team, the work will be laboratory based and involve characterisation of air sensitive materials; many of them may contain sulphur. The role will also include developing new methods, documenting procedures, analysing the data as well as the responsibility for running and maintaining the equipment in the perfect working order.
A successful candidate must have experience with various analytical instrumentation & techniques: BET, TGA, DSC, KF, IC, MS, XRF,
Previous experience with batteries and lithium rechargeable batteries in particular, or electrochemistry  would be an advantage but is not essential.  Being adaptable and having the ability to work well within a team are important.
