Our client is searching for a dynamic and ambitious person to present their software to prospective customers. Ideally you will have previous sales experience or proven interpersonal skills plus a strong desire to move into the more people-focussed role of technical selling.

Responsibilities

·         Presenting tools to potential customers within OLED’s, Lasers, Fibre optics, Telecoms and Photo-voltaic industry, through telesales, emails, audio-visual internet meetings

·         Devising solutions to customer design problems.

·         Providing feed back to our developers - customer comments, suggestions.

·         Identifying sales opportunities for future applications or products.

·         Occasional travel to customers’ sites.

·         Participation at company exhibitions.

Requirements

·         An excellent degree in Opto-Electronics, Photonics, Physics or Electronic Engineering. A relevant PhD would be useful.

·         Knowledge in either electro-magnets, semi-conductor physics, or in more direct photonics areas.

·         Excellent proven track record in interpersonal skills, ideally in a business development, sales or marketing environment.

·         Excellent spoken and written English

·         Good presentation and manner.

·         A good understanding in marketing principles
