Our client is under-going an exciting growth phase and are currently seeking a chemist that has industry experience or a research project in Fuel Cell Technology. They have introduced a novel Lithium-sulphide electrochemistry system to produce a high performance rechargeable battery.

The companies novel approach is based on a highly stable electrolyte system and built in protection of lithium metal anode.

This technology is a landmark breakthrough in the development of a light-weight Lithium batteries, which offers extraordinary high capacity, cycle stability.

Main responsibilities

A successful candidate an excellent understanding of chemistry.

Duties include electrode preparation, material and component characterisation, cell assembly as well as general laboratory duties, making basic analytical, electrical and electrochemical measurements and data capture.

Good attention to detail is important. Previous experience of working in a chemical lab would be an advantage.

Experience/background

Scientist, Chemist, Physicist or Material Sciences

Some electrochemical background

Strong laboratory skills and absolute attention to details, hands on person.

Innovative and motivated character.

Experience in the battery production field would be an advantage.
