Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision lenses and imaging systems, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to make a real impact on the company and contribute to its continued success.

This exciting manufacturing company is looking for a Process Engineer with a strong understanding of 6 sigma to join their growing team. They are interested in hearing from people who also might have some expertise in lasers, optics, or imaging technologies.

This is a key role from the outset where you will be taking responsibility for a range of duties to include process improvement, benchmarking equipment performance, data analysis and the design and development of manufacturing process equipment.

Duties include:-

Conducting process improvement, logging process change, creating SOPs and training production managers/operators in new processes

Contribute to the companies product design projects to ensure design for manufacture requirements are met

Transfer processes on time and with minimal disruption to the business

Qualifications and Skills required:-

A minimum of a first degree in Engineering
Comprehensive industry experience in manufacturing / engineering
Excellent data analysis skills – experience of statistical process control
Strong understanding of 6 sigma
