Peptide Chemist? Looking to work  within an exciting organisation which is expanding? Our client is based in the North East of England and are recruiting for Peptide Chemist to carry out:
• Synthesis of peptides using both automated peptide synthesisers and manual procedures.
• Cleavage of peptides from resin supports
• Analysis and purification of peptides by HPLC and mass spectrometry.
• Carrying out post synthesis modification of peptides, cyclisations, and attachment of dyes.
• Providing information to sales team for accurate quotations
• Provide customers with status of work in progress and provide information on synthesis routes when required.
• Carry out protein predictions to select antigenic peptides for antibody generation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Ideally  you would hold a Ph.D. or degree in chemistry and have practical experience in synthetic chemistry. Experience in peptide chemistry would be of great interest
