Spending hours browsing job sites, completing application forms, polishing CVs and cover letters and preparing for interviews can quickly lead to overwhelm. Not only is job hunting a laborious task, it can also be emotionally taxing. Receiving rejection letters and enduring challenging interviews is no easy feat.

How do I register with CY Partners?

 Simply head over to our sign-up page, create an account and upload your CV. One of our consultants will be in touch with you to arrange a call to discuss your experience, qualifications, and aspirations in more detail. Due to the high volume of CVs we receive daily, unfortunately we are not able to respond to everyone.

What’s the best way to be kept informed of available job opportunities?

 It’s easy to keep an eye on new opportunities by paying regular visits to our vacancies page. If you see a role you are interested in get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide more information and answer any questions you have, to help you to determine whether or not the role is right for you.

What can I do to ensure I get the most out of working with CY Partners?

 We suggest that you update your CV every 3 months and ensure that your consultant has the most up to date copy in addition to your current job requirements. Maintain regular contact with us and be proactive about checking the available vacancies on the website. If you see something that is of interest, reach out to your consultant to request more information. If you are honest about what you are looking for and what your long-term plans are, we’ll be better positioned to help you now and in the future. Finally, be patient, even though we may not have the right role for you at this time, we will not forget about you and will be in touch as soon as a suitable position arises.

How much will using your recruitment service cost me?

Nothing! Our recruitment service to candidates is completely free of charge, we only charge a placement fee to clients.

What will I be expected to include in my job application?

 You will be expected to include an up-to-date CV that demonstrates how your skills and experience match the role you are applying for, together with a cover letter outlining a brief summary of why you are applying and why you believe you are a good fit. If you would like to apply for more than one position at a time, please make this clear. We prefer to receive applications in Microsoft Word format, so it’s easy to edit/add our branding and logo.

How can I maximise my chances of succeeding in an interview?

Do your research and due diligence! Familiarise yourself with the company and conduct thorough research into what they do, their values, and what differentiates them from their competitors. Read the job description carefully and be prepared to answer questions related to how your experience matches the role description. Be mindful of the impression you are making, arrive in good time, maintain a friendly demeanour and good posture.
