CY Partners are working with a leading international provider of scientific, environmental and regulatory services to help recruit an Associate Regulatory Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The client in question provides registration / notification services and global regulatory compliance and chemicals management support for clients around the globe.

As a member of the regulatory team, you will support in the coordination and delivery of services enabling clients to attain compliance with global chemical notifications and market access for their products. Examples of regulations you will be involved in include EU-REACH and Biocidal Products Regulations.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Provide regulatory and technical guidance and support to industry in the context of global REACH chemical notifications, notably EU REACH, UK REACH, Turkey KKDIK

• Communicate and liaise with clients and partners, as needed

• Support the project management of registrations

• Work in close cooperation with commercial and technical colleagues across the Group

Skills / Experience:

• Experience in a Regulatory Consultancy is desirable, but not essential; aptitude and approach are important at this early stage

• Knowledge of  global chemical notifications including EU REACH, BPR and GHS would be beneficial

• Min. BSc degree in related discipline (i.e. (eco)toxicology, chemistry, environmental sciences)

• Logical with the ability to research and solve problems quickly

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with clients and partners

• Ability to successfully manage a dynamic and fluctuating workload, and work well under pressure
