CY Partners are currently looking to recruit a Shift Chemical Analyst on behalf of a Teesside based Chemical Testing company on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be required to carry out preparation and analysis of Chemical Samples.

This will include all testing and preparation activities, using both basic and advanced instrumental analysis techniques.

You will be trained to internal & ISO/ASTM standards and conduct analysis in line with GLP.

Minimum Competencies Required:
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– Knowledge of relevant laboratory operations and standards

– Knowledge of the properties of relevant chemical products
– Computer Literate.

Desirable Competencies:

Working knowledge of laboratory equipment

Knowledge of COSHH and MSDS

Qualified in Chemistry or related subject to degree level or have a proven track record/ experience in a commercial laboratory environment.

Due to the location of the site and the hours of shifts, access to personal transport is required in most cases.

Shifts

Early Shift – 08:30 till 17:00

Mid Shift – 10:00 till 18:30

Late Shift – 17:15 till 01:15

Saturday Shift – 10:00 till 18:30 (Work every third Saturday after the week of early shift)
