A leading Biotechnology company specialising in liquid biopsy is looking for a Head of Technology and Assay Development. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with good knowledge of next generation sequencing to work as part of a dynamic and highly skilled R&D team.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead the development of new technologies for the detection of ctDNA
• Streamline and optimise product pipelines
• Invent and identify novel methods
• Work with business development in identifying product opportunities
• Manage a team of highly skilled technology and assay development scientists

Experience and Requirements
• A degree in Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related field to Molecular Biology
• Extensive experience in Molecular Biology and Next Generation Sequencing
• Proven management experience with detailed understanding of product design
• A good understanding of NGS or advanced genetic sequencing techniques
• Strong creative and problem-solving abilities
• Experience of Bioinformatics or working to ISO13485 standards would be advantageous
