Isotope Labelling Chemist
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Isotope Labelling Chemist to join a growing Pharmaceutical company based in Northumberland. As an Isotope Labelling Chemist, you will be responsible for Plan, perform and manage chemical syntheses in accordance with regulatory and company procedures. You will be required to Conduct route development and/or technology transfer studies in support of a range of scales from milligrams to low grams (for labelled synthesis) and grams to kilograms (for API development)
The ideal candidate will have a background in organic chemistry preferably with experience gained in a pharmaceutical or similar environment. PhD graduates are also considered.
• Design synthetic routes
• Plan and perform syntheses and purifications of various chemical and/or labelled chemical entities
• Capable of acting as Project Manager for small scale syntheses as assigned
You must be educated to a minimum of BSc (Hons) (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to critically assess data.

Candidates should be degree qualified (or equivalent) in chemistry or relevant scientific discipline, and the ideal candidate will have a background in organic chemistry preferably with experience gained in a pharmaceutical or similar environment.
