CY Partners are currently looking to recruit a Mammalian Cell Culture Scientist to join a leading global pharmaceutical company, based in Hertfordshire.
As a Mammalian Cell Culture Scientist, you will be working as part of a team, in a cross functional environment, to support the formulation and development work for cells and viral vectors. Your responsibilities as a Mammalian Cell Culture Scientist, will include preparation of medium, cell culture, formulation of cells and viral vectors and analytical testing of cells and viral vector as required. You may also be required to maintain the laboratory equipment and critical reagents used within the laboratory. As a Mammalian Cell Culture Scientist, you will also be supporting/ preparing accurate records of experiments by use of electronic lab notebooks and reports, while also supporting/ conducting data analysis, collation of results and communication of results/ conclusions accurately.
Additional skills which would be desirable for this role include the following:
• BS and/or relevant experience in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, gene/cell therapy, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines.
• Experience of working in lab using techniques related to media preparation, aseptic handling, cell culture and analytical methods.
• Practical experience of Mammalian cell culture, both primary and cell lines would be highly desirable.
