CY Partners are currently looking for a Microbiologist to work in an exciting laboratory environment, with a leading global pharmaceutical company, based on the South Coast.

As a Microbiologist, you will work alongside the culture maintenance lead. You will work using aseptic technique, to help cultivate and maintain cell banks. You will work as part of a team, but also  independently to plan and organise your own workload effectively.

Additional skills which would be desirable for this role include the following:
• Science Degree or equivalent practical experience in Microbiology techniques (particularly aseptic technique).
• Experience of working within a laboratory environment is highly desirable (this can be outside of industry also).
• A willingness to learn, having a positive, enthusiastic attitude to working on your own initiative and as part of a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a new project which is starting within the organisation. This position is initially a 6 month contract, with a high likelihood of extension past this point.
