An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and resourceful individual to join the project management team of a rapidly expanding life sciences company in York. The company offer the potential opportunity to work remotely however weekly or bi-weekly travel to the site would be required.

As project manager you will oversee all stages of product development from concept through to manufacture. Being responsible for the allocation of resources, implementation and maintenance of plans, timeline management and communication with project team leaders to ensure deadlines and revenue targets are achieved. Followed up with necessary data and information conveyed to stakeholders via written and verbal reports or via meetings.

The duties of this role include:

  • Day to day management of the development of new products in compliance with established quality management systems.
  • Planning and preparation of project documents including timeline management as well as resource allocation and plan revision where necessary to manage ever-changing priorities.
  • Effectively communicate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure timely progression and completion of projects.
  • Monitor progression and issues of projects and provide provision of status updates to stakeholders as written and verbal reports.
  • Scheduling of project meetings, using virtual meeting technology and in person, taking and circulating minutes and actions and following these up.
  • Working closely with all company departments, complying to regulatory guidelines to effectively deliver on project objectives within the design scope and ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Manage changes to existing products and processes when required.
  • Contribute data to monitor key KPI’s for projects.
  • Present projects to internal and external auditors (financial, regulatory etc.) when required.
  • Generate and maintain product development documentation for Design History Files ensuring that each project is always compliant and audit ready.

You must have:

  • Experience within Project Management.
  • Experience in ISO 13485:2016.
  • Excellent communications ability, written and verbal.
  • Competency in dealing with customers and colleagues professionally.
  • Excellent IT proficiency and knowledge.
  • Exceptional resource and time management skills, to meet strict deadlines.
  • Be able to work to their own initiative.
