An opening has arisen for a QA Officer to join a rapidly growing medical diagnostics company based in Newcastle city centre. The ideal candidate must have worked with ISO 15189 and UKAS standards as this role will ensure Accreditation for Covid-19 testing.
Role Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and ensure all processes for the Quality Management System
- Implement and maintain ISO 15189 and UKAS Accreditation
- Support internal and external quality control schemes
- Support all audit programmes within the company including scheduling and performing audits, CAPAs, deviations, quality improvement
- Promote a Quality-focused environment
- Prepare and maintain all validation protocols and documents
- Prepare and review SOPs
- Ensure all technical standards are maintained by adhering to SOPs and following all H&S guidelines
- Support and advise on quality issues
Skills & Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Life Science or related discipline
- Proven experience in a Quality/QA role working to ISO 15189 and UKAS compliance
- Experience in managing and maintaining a QMS
- Working knowledge of ISO 15189
- Experience with CAPA, Change Control, SOPs, and writing protocols
