My client is an established and successful analytical organisation, providing contract analytical services and chemistry consultancy to a range of Pharmaceutical clients. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire an experienced ELISA Method Development Scientist to work within their state-of-the-art laboratory focussed on the biochemical, structural, and biophysical characterisation of Biopharmaceutical molecules under development.

As a Senior ELISA Method Development Scientist you will be responsible for developing and validating ELISA assays to support the characterisation of proteins antibodies, oligonucleotides and mRNA. You will have direct contact with clients directly to scope out the requirements, determine timeframes, generate data, interpret the data to provide insights, and generate quality & robust analytical reports. This will involve managing analytical projects, which may include collaboration with different teams within the business.

To be considered for the Senior ELISA Method Development Scientist role you will need the following skills and experience;

• BSc / MSc/ PhD in Biochemistry/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline)
• Proven industry experience of performing ELISA in a regulated environment GLP or GMP
• Experience in ELISA assay method development and validation
• Excellent communication, teamworking and organisation skills.
• Good IT literacy skills
