At CY Partners we have an exciting opportunity for an Organic Chemist to join a fast-growing Drug Discovery company based in Oxfordshire. The role will involve synthesis and preparation up to Kg scale within a GMP environment. You will also have opportunities to lead projects and small teams.

Role Responsibilities 

• Aid in delivery of projects, assisting the technical project manager
• To ensure quality and safety standards are met by the chemistry team (eg. GMP)
• Carry out key process development and preparative work
• Support transfer of processes
• Liase with analytical department to ensure quality is maintained
• Oversee all stages of the development, including; medicinal chemistry support, route scouting, selection, custom preparation and Lab based production (GMP environment).

Key Requirements

• Relevant PhD or Degree accompanied by Industry Experience
• Competent with Literature research
• Experience within a Laboratory using techniques such as HPLC,LC-MS and NMR
• Some experience Leading a Project would be beneficial
• Good communication and time management
