CY Partners are currently working on a project to recruit several Synthetic Organic Chemists on behalf of a growing Pharmaceutical CRO at their site in the North West of England, located between Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire.

If you have a background in Synthetic Organic, or Medicinal Chemistry, have a passion for working in a lab and would like to move away from Academia and into Industrial Pharmaceutical R&D, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

You will join a motivated and experienced team of scientists who are focussed on delivering innovative drug discovery programmes and our client offers an excellent and comprehensive support system, to help you develop your career.

Requirements:

• PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry. (MChem graduates with relevant industry experience will also be considered)
• Industrial experience of working in organic synthesis in early-stage drug-discovery. (Post-Doc experience also desirable)
• Knowledge of the basic principles of medicinal chemistry or process chemistry.
• Enthusiastic approach to work with excellent communication, organisation and teamworking capabilities
